As part of her program to lighten up, Barbara became a clown and toured Russian hospitals and orphanages with clown/MD Patch Adams, who believes laughter is the best medicine and who says: "The most revolutionary thing you can do to change the world is to be a happy person."
Barbara's workshops inspired the forming of the Coastal Caring Clown group on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The group is eager to have clowns from all over Australia and the world come and visit and offer us their expertise. We will happily host you in our homes in this beautiful part of Australia. This workshop is an opportunity for "Closet Clowns", the curious and even the relentlessly serious to expand their SQ (Silliness Quotient) as we safely, gently and funly sample the art of clowning.
